For more than 25 years, 9-time Grammy Nominee TIERNEY SUTTON was the first voice to bring new songs by legendary lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman to life. What began with her role as their demo singer blossomed into a remarkable relationship: the Bergmans became her cherished collaborators, mentors, parental figures, closest friends, and, ultimately, family.

Now Sutton opens that extraordinary musical world to audiences in an intimate concert celebrating the Bergmans' incomparable songs and the stories behind them. Featuring deeply personal interpretations and rarely heard treasures from the Bergman songbook, the evening traces a remarkable journey through the music of some of the greatest composers of our time, including Michel Legrand, John Williams and Dave Grusin. More than a tribute, The Way We Were is a personal invitation inside the creative world of two extraordinary artists and a celebration of the songs, stories, and friendships that endure.
