Diana Ross said, βTheyβve kept the legacy alive!β
Forty years. Three voices. One night in the desert!
Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence bring FORMER LADIES OF THE SUPREMES*, with Joyce Vincent, celebrating their 40th Anniversary Tour to the Palm Springs Cultural Center!
LIVE! FRI, FEBRUARY 19th, 2027 at 7:00PM. Doors at 6:00PM. Foodie Fridays on the Plaza from 5-8pm. And we are right during Modernism Week.
SCHERRIE PAYNE and LYNDA LAURENCE are genuine Supremes, two of only eight women who ever wore the name. Lynda joined in 1972 after singing behind Stevie Wonder. Scherrie joined in 1973 and became the groupβs final lead vocalist. In the summer of 2000, Diana Ross brought them both back for the βReturn to Loveβ tour and gave them center stage on βStoned Loveβ and βUp the Ladder to the Roof.β
They are joined by JOYCE VINCENT of Tony Orlando & Dawn, a Detroit girl who recorded in Motownβs Studio A long before she had three #1 Records of her own.
Audiences can expect an electrifying live band. Full glamour. And every song you know by heart.
