Tamara Lalayan
Tamara Lalayan is a singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, originally from Armenia. She was born and raised in a family of musicians. Her father is a well-known Armenian composer and pianist Artyom Lalayan, famous for his "Jazz with an Armenian Accent" project. Her mother is a specialist in music theory, and her cousin is the conductor of the State Big Jazz Band of Artsakh.
Tamara has participated in numerous international festivals and projects introducing a wide range of genres, including jazz, Armenian ethno jazz, soul, funk, and modern funk.
Tamara is also the founder of the vocal school "Lalayan Art," which has welcomed students from all over the world, including USA, Armenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Russia and Ukraine.
Currently, she is preparing for a series of concerts with her original program in Los Angeles and New York with the participation of musicians who have collaborated with Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Quincy Jones, and more.
