Sophie Pollono

Sophie Pollono is so excited to be making her 54 Below debut as Amy in Little Women: An American Musical. This project is close to her heart as she has been involved with it for the last 4 years. Sophie is a Young Arts Winner (2023) and a 2022 Jimmy Awards Finalist.

Sophie’s previous stage credits include Mary in Disney’s Mary Poppins (Millikan), Kim MacAfee in Bye, Bye Birdie (Chaminade), Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Chaminade), Alice in Alice in Wonderland (Chaminade), Narrator in Joseph… (Chaminade), Viola in Shakespeare in love (John Burroughs), and Cinderella in Into the Woods (John Burroughs). Professionally, Sophie is a member of Rogue Machine Theatre and Pacific Resident Theatre, where she has performed in many plays, including the American premiere of Oppenheimer. Sophie is a member of John Burroughs High School’s play production program as well as their award-winning show choir, POWERHOUSE, where she was a featured soloist in the choir’s competition set garnering three awards for Best Female Soloist including at the Heart of America National Competition in New York City. Last fall, Sophie played Eurydice in POWERHOUSE’s revue of Hadestown. In fall of 2023, Sophie will be pursuing a BFA in musical theatre from Carnegie Mellon University.
